Does anyone here have any experience with the ars racks/tubs? Specifically the ARS-50 series with the divider. I have heard pretty good things about them, but they are smaller than the 41qt sterilite tubs. So I guess my question is how are they going to be for an adult bp and is there any extra benefits with those as opposed to a regular sterilite?

They're great if you can fork over the cost. They're also open air all around and work better in a temp. controlled room. ARS is also great for those that have tons of snakes. Personally not a fan of tubs with a divider I like 1 snake per tub.

If you like a specific tub this guy can build you a rack out of any tub, he can keep the sides open/closed etc. And will be much cheaper than ARS.

Awesome. I wasn't planning on using their racks just the tubs. The divider on the tub isn't for multiple snakes, it's essentially a built in hide for the snake. http://arscaging.com/arstubs.html. I will definitely check out that guys racks, thanks!

I use ARS racks for all of my adult BPs. I've also used Vision, Herpenclosure, Reptile Basics and others. By far, the best is ARS. I have not used the ones with the dividers, mine are the 41 qt tubs. I don't think you will regret the purchase if you get them. They are expensive, but worth it.

Do you think the 50 series would be too small for an adult? They are 27"X13"X5.5"

I think the 50 series would be fine for males and juveniles up to the 1800 range but truthfully a little small for the larger females. The 7030 is typical for adult ball pythons. Also larger females I don't think will fit thru the hide hole in a 50 series tub.

I have been back and forth on this for a few months and after seeing Don's set up I am convinced ARS is the way to go. Will be placing my order as soon as pricing is set on their new line.

Typically the opaque or dark tub a hide is not needed.

I was thinking freedom breeder, they use to have a divider you can put in tubs. Seems they've since gone away with it and copied ARS and put a divider hide.

I've never personally owned ARS or Freedom Breeder but I have worked with some Freedom Breeder/ARS set ups both are outstanding again if you can fork over the money.

For my snakes, i keep all adult females in 41 qt tubs. Males can go in smaller bins.
