Anyone else cutting there snake numbers? I'am down to 67 from 100. Mine was by design, I had to wait 2 - 3 years for baby's to grow up and replace single and non-visual animals. Got rid of a bunch of normal stuff and even a few of the Dinker projects.

I'm doing the same thing. Just got rid of a project of six snakes and a project of 7 may be on their way to a new home as well.

My numbers (ball python wise) will selectively go up this year, and next.    I kinda regret not picking up a smoking female G-Stripe Ball this weekend but decided to hold off for a multi-gene female.

I plan to add a couple more female retics (Super Dwarf/SD crosses)

Maybe (big maybe) depending on price towards late year a female Het Pied Retic, or some visual OGS retics.

I went from about 25 snakes to 19. Mostly just selling those snakes that I don't plan on breeding in the near future. I have plans to sell another 3-4, mostly normal ball pythons.

Between the eggs, gravid female, and paid-for snakes that are just waiting on safe weather to ship, my numbers will be going up this year.

Ours went up in terms of ball pythons and snakes in general, although we only kept a small handful of holdbacks this year and have been moving things around a bit. Planning on moving a few more things around and concentrating on a few less projects this year.

We did cut back on most of our lizard species, most known for our beardies we sold everything dragon related :-\ Adding a newborn to the mix and expanding our company again this year....we had to cut down on some of the more demanding animals. I already dont sleep as it is, couldnt find enough time in the day :-p

I already sold most of my cornsnakes or traded them in for equipment. Most my single gene ball pythons will go after this breeding season as well. I thinned out my kingsnakes as well and only have a few of those left but will keep them. A few more additions in the boa corner through trades brought my number of snakes up to 46. I'll end up having around 30 total before the next breeding season starts..
