Anyone have any experience with mourning geckos? They are notable because they are parthenogenic. I think there's one on Craigs's List now. Supposedly they do better if there are at least two per cage, even though there are no males per se.

So I've read. I find it absolutely fascinating that they are parthenogenic. I also read that originally they weren't a true species, but a hybrid. Sort of like society finches in that respect, I guess. Not sure of availability in our area. Would be interesting to give them a try.

They're pretty cool! I had my two together at first, until they both escaped and like wondered into random gecko tanks. They literally did what they wanted lol. I know benetts creek repriles had some for $20

Is Bennetts Creek Reptiles a shop or a private breeder? (Just joined recently. Not familiar with the who's and what's yet!)

Will keep a lookout for you for those. I'm still looking for a sunglow leo. Hoping to find one locally. I wish those who list on Craig's List would respond when you make an inquiry. Sometimes you just don't know if your inquiry got thru, or if the person had so many inquiries they just aren't responding,OR if the listing is already sold! OR WHAT! YIKES! I just fell off of my soapbox!
