I've been warned by my neighbors that this is the time of year we'll be getting cottonmouths and copperheads all around here...still haven't seen either. but today i'm highly disturbed with snakes in my've been forced to keep the back shop door open because a bird laid her eggs in my shop cubbies-they are 4 ft off the ground and 2 feet from the rafters(i try to keep the floors as clear as possible for safety) Well, i haven't heard the baby birds all day so peeked in to see....GONE....upon closer inspection there is fresh shed from a decent size snake in there. I'm thinking GREAT...because now i'm gonna have to clear the rafters and every square inch of the garage as i MUST get a rat rack with so many ball pythons and even more coming in Thurs.....IT NEVER ENDS!!!lmao have to get reptile room ready for new BIG arrivals(whole new breeder rack to make by thurs or fri)....need to get rats started....gotta get order in to Reptile Basics like yesterday...and now i need to install a DOOR on the shop so i keep the rollup door closed! BTW..i'm ohhh..10 ft from wetlands My biggest concern is the local snake population trying to make my shop their all night diner once i get rats going!!!

Well I guess that solves the bird problem! Smile

My parents live right past Suffolk off of 32, I believe.  I can't seem to find anything but ringnecks but I haven't ventured too far yet.
