PostSubject: Moss cleaning?   Tue Jun 11, 2013 11:27 am

Hey all. So I have sphagnum moss currently as the substrate in my ExoTerra tank. I was wondering if it should get cleaned/rinse, and if so how often? I'm not yet to the point where I say to the heck with aesthetics and go with paper towels, but I may be getting there soon, lol.

BTW, the substrate is for my crested geckos.

It's pretty easy to rinse off. I use moss in my layboxes, so I frequently take it out and give it a good spray down to dampen it. Otherwise just spot clean.
