Ok I have another question, can you breed different types of snakes as in boa x python? Is it possible? I started thinking about hybrids and I have never heard of one, so I just assumed it was not possible and cant really find anything on it so I decided to see if anyone knew anything about it...

There are a few but not quite that variable. Usually pythons to pythons (burm x ball, woma x ball, rock x burm etc), boa x boa ... And a few others but I don't want to incorrectly cite them.

There are also integrades which I believe "naturally" occur but I am naive on these topics. I usually just start googling away when I stumble across something new. There is a lot of neat stuff out there but it's such a controversial topic that can stem heated debates Razz

That I have noticed from what I have personally looked up on Google and what not. I know about a bingo of the python hybrids from what I have looked up but wondered if it has ever went to boa x python or any other mix. I couldn't find much on Google really, its hard enough to find hybrid stuff of just python to python.

Basically I just try to absorb all possible info I can on reptile stuff and the more I look into it the more questions I can't find answers to. As touchy as the hybrids are they are also very intriguing to me, whether I try and breed hybrids, that still very up in the air, but things like bat eaters I think are beyond gorgeous.

I would assume that a boa x python breeding would not be possible because of the differences in how they give birth.
