PostSubject: shedding problem with ball python   Mon Feb 04, 2013 10:11 pm

My ball went through a shed. I have seen that all the old skin is gone from her bottom. She still has old skin on her side and top. She is still eatting and moving around like nothing is wrong. I was wandering if I should be worried and if there is any thing I can do

I've got some snakes in with bad sheds and I just rub a little petroleum jelly on it. It usually comes off in a few days and keeps it nice and moist.

It sounds like its humidity is low. It's hard to keep it up this time of year and would probably benefit from more misting.
