PostSubject: Update: Va Herp Society Fall Symposium: Schedule of Events!!!!!   Fri Sep 28, 2012 10:47 am

Ok everyone.... here is the schedule and more information on the Fall Symposium.

The VHS is teaming up with the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) citizen science program called FrogWatch USA. FrogWatch USA will be hosting a training session on Sunday, following the VHS Fall Symposium. I highly recommend you join up with FrogWatch and become a volunteer, if you attend the session on Sunday they may reimburse you for travel expenses, partially or fully. Read more about FrogWatch USA here. Register for the National Zoo Training on October 21 (the Sunday following the VHS Fall Symposium) here.

Also here is the Schedule of Events for the VHS symposium. They Symposium is free..however, in order to attend the Reptile Discovery Center Tours, you must be a member of the VHS. You can join the VHS for a yearly fee of $15 dollars a year. Register here.

You can view the complete schedule here.

Spots for the tours will be reserved for members only and for those who participate in the whole symposium. Registration for the tours will be conducted at the Symposium. Thanks.
