How can you tell the difference between a Gray Tree Frog (pictured below)



and the Cope's Gray Tree Frog (pictured below)?

Do they have different amounts of toes on the front feet? It looks like the lower frog has 4 toes, while the top frog has 3. I might just be making it up though, I don't know anything about frogs other than that they're adorable Rolling Eyes

the white stripe under the eye for one... and also, the cope's has a black ring around the tympanic membrane???

Ok, just realized how late I am in answering this. Smile KittleKat149 and SMD58 are correct the only way to tell these two apart in areas where they co-exist is by their call. The Cope's tree frogs tend to have a faster call. However, frog calls can vary depending on distribution and so it can be a bit tough.
