Started the turtle pond. Took 5 hours to get this far... that includied getting and moving 75 block and 13 cap stones. And a lot of time making sure the first row was leval and squaire. The water side is 3W x 5L x 2.5D and the rest will be land
1.5W x 3D x 2.5D. still got a way to go.

I keep a few spotted, they take care of them self. They dig in for the winter and out in the spring. And give me a few baby's here and there.

I was just getting ready to ask you when you were going to build the lizard habitat. I have put mine outside for the day a few times already. Still too cool to leave them out at night but its getting there.

The pond is going to be amazing. If I had someone else to help us with all the animals we have, I'd build one too. I'd love to have a pond out back. I'm guessing you're using pool liner for the bottom, right?

Yes got some pond liner, a uv filter, a small water fall filter. Have to drill a rain over flow outlet still. And some more thinking to get it all right the first time.

There are hundreds of turtles in our neighborhood that you can come catch in the dead of night! Wink (jk...not about there being hundreds)

Still in work, I haven't had a chance to do more. Thursday I should get most of it done. The next biggest thing I need to get is a load of dirt to fill up the land side.

Now you all sound like my wife, that's as far as you got! Well did some more thinking today and iam going to make it just a little bit bigger. More land surface was needed. But I should still make progress Thursday and have some pictures. My biggest problem is I think long and hard (smell the wood burning) before I do things to be sure I cover the animals needs.

Bigger is always better in my book. Look at my outdoor habitat for Stubbs (a 160 sq. foot summer enclosure for my blue tongue skink).

Did some work today on the pond,
Made the land side bigger
Put the liner in, and put insultaion sheets between the liner and bricks.
Got the filter put in to the ground. Running a filter with UV built in, with a 900 GPH pump
Put up lattis and planted some plant
Still need to set the water fall, and build the fench for the front and a few other things.
