Be sure to warm the rodent up a little above your body temperature. It should feel warm to the hand, but not hot. The head should be a little warmer than the body. Hold the rat by the scruff of the neck and scent the snake's enclosure. Do that by going slow and letting the smell of the rodent permeate the tub. Slowly bring the rat towards the snake. If she is interested, she will lift her head or tilt her head. If she shows interest, stop a few inches from her and make the rat look like it has tremors (gently shake like the rat is scared). Don't go to close or it may scare her. If she doesn't strike, leave the rat at the opening of her hide. Leave it there for at least a half hour. This method has worked for me almost all of the time. Everyone of my snake babies that I sold were switched over before sale.

If the above doesn't work, let me know. There are plenty of tricks.
